Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve is a beautiful 320-acre preserve in Flagler Beach where families can slow down, explore nature, and enjoy a peaceful outdoor adventure. With trails and boardwalks winding through salt marsh, maritime hammock, and black mangrove communities, this preserve gives visitors a close-up look at coastal Florida wildlife and natural habitats.
Families may spot gopher tortoises near the parking area, as well as wading and migratory birds, and other wildlife throughout the preserve. The boardwalk makes it easy to take in the scenery, enjoy bird watching, and experience the quiet beauty of Flagler Beach’s coastal estuarine environment.
Visitors can also fish from the pier, launch a boat from the Moody Boat Launch for access to the Intracoastal Waterway, or enjoy a picnic with family and friends.
